Verus is an ancestor of several English words, among them verity and verify. Verus challenges you to question your surroundings, the reality that you live.
The inspiration behind Verus came into mind when I was watching my favourite film, Inception. Throughout the film you are never truly sure what's real, whether the protagonist is functioning within a 'Simulation'. I came to a realisation that in a world where we are controlled by the media, we can never be sure that what we are being presented is true.
